How do I create user accounts in YouTrack?

In YouTrack, user accounts can be created in several ways:

  • A system administrator can create an account manually.
  • A system administrator can invite a person to register.
  • A person can register an account himself, if user registration is enabled.
  • A person can log into YouTrack with OpenID/Google/GitHub/LDAP credentials.

When a user account is created, you need to configure its group membership, thus granting the account access permissions. Please note, that any new user account joins auto-join user groups automatically.
