The integration with TestRail test case management software links test results in TestRails to issues in YouTrack. For more information about this integration and its settings, please refer to the instructions provided by Gurock Software on their official website.
On the YouTrack side, the only thing you need to do is add your TestRail server to the list of trusted origins that are allowed access to YouTrack.
To add TestRail to the list of allowed origins in YouTrack:
- Open the Administration > Global Settings page in YouTrack.
- Locate the Resource Sharing section of the page.
- Enter the URL of your TestRail server in the input field for Allowed origins.
- Save your changes to the global settings.

The integration between YouTrack and the TestRail test case management tool is built and supported by Gurock Software. The setup and functionality that are described here were verified by a Support Engineer from the YouTrack team in the following software environment:
- YouTrack version 2019.2.6111
- TestRail version 6.0
Given that TestRail is offered as a SaaS solution, the integration was tested using cloud-hosted installations for both applications.
