How to add project backlog to issue drop list
Hi!
I really can't get my head around this, I'm trying to find out how to show a Project backlog from my Agile Board in the in the Issue drop down list (The one beside the "Enter search request" field.)? We have multiple user groups set up. The one I'm a member of can se the Project backlog in the list, my customer cannot. The only way for my customer to see the Backlog is by going from the Agile Board > Open Backlog and click "Show on issue list" next to the "Saved search".
I found this article but wouldn't say it helped me at all.

What's the exact version of YouTrack you are using?
Still not visible despite having Visible for Group set to "All users"?
Does this tell the version?
Hi!
Did you make the screenshot while being logged in as your customer or as yourself? If you did if from your own account, then pleas ask your customer to check, where this search is visible for him in Saved Searches section of Side bar on issue list. If it's visible, user should "pin" it by clicking on eye icon near it's name. After that it should be visible in the dropdown
Screenshot is taken when I was logged in as myself. Problem is the backlog isn't visible for my customer at all, only the general one for the projekt. Being logged in as myself I have both [PROJECT X] and [PROJECT X BACKLOG] in the list.
Can your customer type #{Project Backlog} in search? Can your customer share a screenshot of saved searches listed in his Sidebar (not in dropdown)?
Yes, this is what it looks like.
EDIT: Yes, typing #{Responster Backlog} makes it display. But why isn't it in the dropdown? :S
You should click on 31 MORE under searches list, find your search there and click on eye icon. Then after page refresh it'll appear in a dropdown
Thank you! That solve the problem. But I barely found the arrow for expanding the sidebar. Not very userfriendly :|
