Email Notifications (Standalone)

Hi folks,

I've setup YouTrack standalone so we can evaluate the product; in the next year we're likely to move up one tier from free, but we can't seem to get email notifications working.  I've setup a saved search on my user account and added it to my subscriptions for all events, but I never receive an email.  The query in my saved search is as follows:

(#{Assigned to me} or Assignee: me) and (project: TestProject)

Any assistance would be appreciated,

Hi Robert, thanks for reaching out!

1) Please check that you're not testing notifications of your own changes. There is a checkbox in your profile, 'Changes applied by me', which is unselected by default.

2) Have you configured the SMTP settings as described in the documentation: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/standalone/enable-email-notifications.html ? If you click 'Send test message' in the Global Settings > SMTP settings, do you receive this test message?

3) If the settings are correct but you don't get notifications of changes made by other users, then please submit a support request and attach the full logs of your instance, we'll take a look.

I've verified that the setting in (1) is checked and the SMTP server is configured (I can receive the test email.)  Can you let me know which log files I should include?

Please send us the full logs folder, you can check the current location of it in Settings > Statistics in your YouTrack.

Also please send us a screenshot of your SMTP settings.
