Help Desk - Incomming HTML email

Many of my incoming emails are from a third party service that sends and HTML formatted email.

Youtrack has lots of complex workflows, has any tried to removed HTML markup from an incoming support email?

Actually  I think just appending a  couple of <div  style="clear:both"> aster and email would help - any ideas how to code that workflow?

I'm Sergey from the YouTrack team.

If you go to Settings (nut icon) → Integrations → Mailbox → Post processing → You can enable 'Prefer plain text for descriptions'. Note that it only works if the incoming message contains a plain-text version of the email. Otherwise, it'll still be wrapped in HTML.

As for editing descriptions and comments in a helpdesk project, opposite to normal issues, they are immutable, so you cannot change them, including via workflows.

Also, can you please elaborate what kind of issues you have with workflows related to the HTML markup? Perhaps there's some other solution for it.
