Add comment by email to project

Hello,

I'm working with people in business corp who want to use emails.

Is it possible to add comment by email like create an issue by email ? If yes could you guide me :-)

OK I used gmail account for youtrack server and the client corporate server does somehow filter that kind of email and sent the comments very late.

But weird that nobody answered, community is not very active, this is important for the choice of a product.

Dear Lepine,

YouTrack adds email as a comment to an existing issue when it finds that the new email relates to the issue:

1. Standard MIME threading by message-id/in-reply-to.

2. Reference to the issue id in the subject.

3. Threading by subject, without Re, Fwd and ignoring square bracketed content. Like GMail does for threading.

Emailsupports Could you please elaborate? If you configured the Help Desk scenario as per this documentation section, then comments should be added via email to the corresponding issues.
