Sort by Due Date ascending

we added a customer date field "Due Date" and sort the open topics by open/closed, priority and due date. Open, High priorities are on top. Perfect. Unfortunately the Date is sorted descending. Hence due dates in the future are on top.

How can we please sort the due date vice versa so we will find over due or soon due topics on top and dates in the future at bottom of the list? I couldn't find any hint in the documentation or discussions.

Thank you

Any idea, how to sort the "Due Date" descending (next due dates on top) ?

Hello,

Apologize for the delay!

I'd suggest you to create a saved search:
sort by: State , Priority

pin (eye icon in front of each saved search) the search to add it to contexts and execute the following query:
sort by: {Due Date} asc

Thank you.

Hello Andrey,

thank you for the answer – it seems to work.
I didn’t find any hint that I have to put “asc” or “desc” just behind the sort criteria. Maybe it would be worth to add this to the documentation.

All the best,

Hi Rico,

You are welcome.
I'd also like to double check, that
sort by: {Due Date} asc

query should be executed under
sort by: State , Priority
context. After you save and pin the search, it'll appear in drop-down, left side of the search bar.

Search query grammar is available by the following link.

Thank you.
