How To Do Full History Tracking?

Please clarify the problem.

I have to say that if changes are made within a minute they are merged. Therefore if changes are completely merged up to zero issue timestamp will be updated but no item will be added into the history.

We are using the agile board with features and tasks. Tasks do not seem have any history tracking. Also comments on either features or tasks do not have any history tracking. What this causes is that we have had to turn off update/delete of comments and are looking at freezing task descriptions completely because there is no way to know if someone is changing the description of work (either through comment or the description itself). I agree that this should be an issue, but we have individuals have already done it and then complained that a feature/task was not implemented in the way that was originally estimated.

Are you able to look at the Comments/History tab of the tasks/features on the full screen issue?

Please note that tasks and features are usual issues that can be managed not only on the agile board but also by the standard way, using issues list and full issue screens.

I am able to see the History tab, see that tasks are showing descriptions... but I am still not seeing anything with comment history tracking for any issue types.

Could you please attach screenshots to illustrate the problem?

If you mean the comment modification history - I can say that there is no such type of history in YouTrack, there is only the issue summary/description/fields/links/tags change history.
