YouTrack 6: Cannot assign users to issues after upgrade

Our hosted YouTrack instance has been upgraded to version 6 during the last few days. Now I am unable to assign issues to users. The list of  assignees shows only one entry: Unassigned. I cannot even assign the issue to myself.
This worked flawlessly until the upgrade to YouTrack6. What can I do?

I was able to solve this issues. My problem was caused by changes in the new YouTrack 6. Somehow i must have missed a notification about the upgrade...
