Setting default "types, states, priority" etc ... Follow
Hey guys, I created a group for our customer service, so they can log "issues or requests" to their own seperate group (so
it doesn't interfer with running projects), but is there a way to set the default type, state, etc... so when they create a new issue, they can only really put the title and body of information (and can't assign anything)? I don't want the default "bug" state -- I'd rather set it to something else and/or remove it altogether. Can this be done?

Hi David,
No this can't currently be done. We'll implement this functionality as a part of custom workflow in the next version to be released in Q1 next year.
Have you only created a group for the customer service, or a separate project, too? If there's a separate project (or subsystem), you could regularly filter out all issues in the project/subsystem, select them all and set any attributes you like through the Command window.
Regards,
Jura
I created a seperate project and a group with just "Reporter" rights -- so, they can only report on this Project (which isn't part of any real project), but the default "bug" state means they'll pop up in "bug" searches, when I don't want them too. Oh, well, look forward to some more control in the newer versions coming out ;-)
