The license has expired.

I setup a new YouTrack InCloud instance last week and had my team spend several days inputting data.  I only had 4 users so I was under the impression that it would be free.  However, I am now completely locked out with the message "The license has expired."  I see that my "Current Subscription Plan" is set to "50 Users + 0 Reporters" but I cannot change it.  I also see that 2000 Users and 20k Reporters should be free until 2/29/2012 so I am even more confused as to why I am locked out.

There is an option to export the database so I have doing that and setting up a new free instance, but I cannot find how to import my database.

Two emails to JetBrains have as yet gone unanswered.

If anyone has some advice on how I might proceed without losing the data we have entered so far, please help.

Thanks,

-Ryan

Hello Ryan,

We apologize for the delayed answers: we have New Year vacations till January, 10 so not all questions are answered as quickly as they could.

After the YouTrack InCloud release you should have received the email with the link to confirmation form to move your instance to the production. Have you received it? Did you complete the confirmation and create a JetBrains account?

If not, please let us know and we will re-send you the confirmation link for your instance.

If yes, please try to reload your license: on the Administration > Settings page, click the Reload button for your current subscription plan.

As for importing you current data into the new youtrack instance, you can do it using our Python client library for our REST API, please refer to http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/YTD3/Import+from+Another+YouTrack+Server page for details.

Please let me know if it helps.

Once again, we apologize for the inconveniences.

Best regards,

Ekaterina

Ekaterina,

Thanks for the quick reply.  I did receive the confirmation email and I am pretty sure I confirmed it because we were able to use it for days.  When I go to my site now, I am stuck on the setup page with the license expired message and Reloading doesn't seem to do anything (even after I have logged in).  Please look for yourself:

If you could assist in extending our license, I would greatly appreciate it.  If there is nothing you can do, please let me know and I will look into the Python option.

Thanks again,

-Ryan

Ekaterina,

I'm having exactly the same issue: i'm stuck at setup page and not able to update my license. Is it some common issue that will be fixed for all accounts and projects at once?

My project page is http://jprog.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/setUp

Sergey,

As far as I remember I've answered that email, but I'm not sure. Will I be able to update my license if I haven't continued the evaluation?

Hello Alexey,

Your license has expired because you haven't confirmed your intention to move your YouTrack instance to production. Please check whether you've received an email with the confirmation link. If you have, please follow the link and fill in the form. Your license will be updated after you confirm the form. If you haven't received an email, please contact us youtrack-incloud-support@jetbrains.com and we will resend you the link.

Regrads,
