Is it possible to create a report that sums the values of a custom field?

I would like to create a report that lists projects on the Y-axis and an enum field on the x-axis, then sums instead of counts all the values in an integer or float field like Cost.

The purpose of this report would be to give a quick shot of total cost of all open tickets associated with a particular enumeration or project.
