The field 'assigned to' is no longer associated with Employee(s)

As Developer I have received the Admin role in a particular project to experiment with the various project fields. I have added some fields as a pilot in this project and then removed those added fields. After this 'experiment' the fields are restored to the original as they are also used in other projects. But, the link between the 'assignee / assigned' field and the field 'Employee' doesn't work anymore. For one reason or another, there are no more results for "assigned to: me" while there are results for "Employee: Koen". Does anyone know what I have done wrong and how can this be solved?

Could you please create a support request: https://youtrack-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=66282  and provide the screenshots of the Projects > Project_name > Edit project > Field > Assignee?
