See svn commits in YouTrack issues
I have just installed YouTrack to give it a go and see how well it performs viz. our Jira installation. Atlassian has recently announced that they will retire the stand-alone version of their products so I have to find an alternative.
Enter YouTrack and UpSource.
I installed both and have managed to a) import all Jira issues into YouTrack and b) got UpSource to work with our Subversion repository. I really love the UpSource view of all commits -- it is just marvellous!
However, I have not found a way to see commits related to an issue in YouTrack in the issue view. This was a really nice feature in Jira and, even though it is not technically required (I can find an issue in UpSource easily enough) it is a nice touch to have it all where it belongs, so to speak.
Anyway, that was a rather wordy way of saying: can I (and if so, how) see my commits in Subversion in the relevant issues in YouTrack?

Hi!
I'm Sergey from the Youtrack team.
Thank you for the message. I'm happy to help you.

Yes, there's a way to do it. For that, you should integrate your Youtrack with Upsource following these steps: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/standalone/Integration-with-Upsource.html
Note that both Youtrack and Upsource use the service called Hub. Hub is used to manage users, groups, permissions, authentication, and so on. By default, this service is bundled in Youtrack and Upsource automatically and you don't need to install it separately.
However, if you want to integrate Youtrack and Upsource, then you should install it separately and make both Youtrack and Uposurce use it.
See related guides:
* Migrate Youtrack to external Hub
* Migrate Upsource to External Hub

Hi, and thanks for your reply.
I have installed Hub, followed by YouTrack and UpSource and connected each to Hub when I did the setup. Hub is on port 8080, YouTrack on 8081 och UpSource on 8082. I can see both YouTrack and UpSource projects, when I log in to Hub and click "Projects" at the top of the window.
After the installation of the products I imported all my Jira issues into YouTrack and connected my subversion repository to UpSource. No problems with the import from Jira and when I look in UpSource I see all commits with diffs and everything. And if there is a reference to an issue in YouTrack, I can click on the reference and I will see the corresponding issue.
The problem is how to see the commits from an issue - this is not something I have managed to do, hence my post.
I perhaps also should add that I have successfully merged the two projects, the YT and the UP, into one, all according to the documentation.
Ah! Sorry. Now it shows correctly! I disabled the Lite Mode and when I then clicked on the "VCS changes" icon, all commits now display correctly. Sorry to waste your time. :)
Thanks for the reply.
Glad to hear that everything is fine. The Lite UI doesn't have a VCS section for now, though we consider adding it in the future. So for now, to see the commits, you must use the Classic UI.
