VCS changes appearing with "

We have used both Build Server integration and VCS integration.

Our experience is that when linking an issue (and applying commands) if the commit message contains quotes (") SOME of them appear as the HTML entity " in the VCS changes representation shown in the issue. Oddly it is not all, and appears to mostly be the first quote per line, but I'm not certain of that, beyond happening quite often.

It would be great if this could not happen.

Thank you for the report. So far, we haven't been able to reproduce this issue.

Could you help us out and provide a reproducible set of steps here? Please let us know the following details:

  1. Your YouTrack build version. To check it, click the question mark button in the upper right corner of the UI;
  2. The VCS integration you are using and its version (if applicable);
  3. The exact original commit message and the exact way it is presented in YouTrack.
