Custom fields in Youtrack

Hi,

 

I created a custom field as a string and assigned that to a project. I can see the field listed when I create an issue with default value. But when I try to edit the custom field to add a new value to it, I am unable to do it.

Can you please look in to it.

Are you trying to do this from REST API? Do you have sufficient permissions?

yes, I have sufficient permissions. 

I added this field using the option "custom fields". It is showing default value and I am unable to edit it.
