New installation slow

I've installed YouTrack on a Centos 7 VM and users are saying that it 'seems slow'.

The server did only have 1GB of RAM, so I've upped that to 2GB,  but in the stats, YouTrack states 910MB Available.
There's also only 1 DB Background Thread, can I increase that?
Anything I can do to try and speed things up?

Hello David, thanks for your questions.

> YouTrack states 910MB Available.

This is the Xmx parameter which is configured separately.

Could you please send us a screenshot from the /statistics page during the period of the highest activity? Also please send us the full logs from your installation. You can send those details to

Also please elaborate, what exactly is showing slow performance? Which pages, which operations?

Thank you.
