Gantt Chart Integration Issues between Youtrack and Space

Dear JetBrains Support Team,

I am reaching out to seek urgent assistance with critical issues I am encountering with the Gantt chart feature, which is central to planning and managing my development team's projects for the upcoming six weeks. Unfortunately, I've stumbled on some bugs that have significantly hindered our workflow, causing considerable inefficiency and frustration.
 

Integration Challenges between Youtrack and Space:
We utilize Space for development work and Youtrack for project management. While importing progress from Space to Youtrack is straightforward, the reverse process is inconsistent. Specifically, the Docker command to import issues from Youtrack to Space is unreliable. On occasions when the server hosting the Docker image is inaccessible, our workflow is effectively halted until server access is restored. Moreover, even after successful image builds, updates fail to reflect in Space, with the system erroneously indicating no updates despite task rescheduling in the Gantt chart.

Issues with Task Relationships in Gantt Chart Updates:
Updating tasks within the Gantt chart often leads to lost task relationships in Youtrack, particularly regarding parent and dependency links. This issue predominantly arises with tasks extending beyond a single day, suggesting a problem with how start and end dates are handled. Adjusting the start date of a task incorrectly alters its end date to match, disrupting dependencies and the hierarchical structure of tasks.

Dependency Visualization Glitches:
The feature to visualize dependencies only functions correctly when relationships are manually set. Attempting to adjust these by clicking and dragging within the Gantt chart instead alters the task duration, contrary to the intended action.

These issues are severely impacting our productivity and satisfaction with JetBrains products. As a dedicated user of your tools, I am keen to find a resolution that will allow my team and me to continue leveraging your software effectively. Could you please provide guidance on resolving these issues or escalate this matter to ensure a timely solution? We are committed to using JetBrains products but require your assistance to overcome these challenges.

The Space team will return with a reply there as soon as they have a chance.

As for the Gantt chart issues, since there are multiple ways to adjust task duration and use the drag-and-drop functionality, can you please record a short video demonstrating exactly how you manipulate the chart and make the issues appear? This will help our team investigate them further. If necessary, you can open a ticket with us here and share the video privately within the ticket.
