Jabber not sending Messages

I setup the Jabber config on Youtrack running in Tomcat. It doesn't send any messages and I'm not getting any errors as to why not. Is there a known issue? I'm running 1.0.3.

I've tried 2 different Jabber accounts just to confirm. It works fine in teamcity though. Any help would be great.

No, it isn't. You are the first one to report getting no jabber notifications at all. I think you have something special in your setup. What jabber settings are you using exactly? Are there jabber accounts filled in for users hoping to get notifications? Is jabber server firewalled on its particular port on your machine/tomcat?

The jabber server is on the same machine as tomcat and youtrack. I first went to Administration and chose setup. From there I enabled Jabber Notifications and entered the hostname and the jabber account I'm going to use which i verified from a client to make sure that it wasn't a problem with the account. Then I went to my user information and put in my jabber ID and clicked the link that says Send test jabber message. It says that it sent it but nothing ever comes. I never see the user that i setup in youtrack come online.

There is no firewall on this server running SLES 10. I tried it using the standalone JAR distribution of Youtrack with the same results, so i'm not convinced it's a problem with Tomcat either. I also have Teamcity running in this same instace of Tomcat and it sends the jabber messages just fine.
