how can I customise the status options?
Hi
I am trying to customise the youtrack options to match our workflow. Primarily this comes down to the status field, which is a set of transition fields
an example of this could be
submitted->open->in progress->fixed
I need to have an additional transition state. I am looking for "Ready for Validation" and "Ready for inspection"
how can I add these fields to the system?

Currently, all the predefined issue attributes (such as status, issue type and etc.) are not customizable.We are working on turning them to custom attributes. This feature will be included to the next YouTrack version.hi Valerie,

Paul, I'm not sure yet whether this feature will be included to the next major release or to one of the minors. For now, you can possibly try to use separate custom field for the additional transition state you need. For example, the issue can fixed and 'ready for inspection' and after the inspection is done, its state can be changed to resolved and 'inspected'. In this case you'll have separate states for development and testing process. Hope, it might help.
