Would love to use YouTrack but having a hard time installing! ./wrapper: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

We followed along the documentation to install YouTrack on an Ubuntu machine. However, the service never starts. We tracked it down to the wrapper returning an error:

root@j6315:/home/youtrack/standalone/bin# sudo ./wrapper

./wrapper: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

root@j6315:/home/youtrack/standalone/bin# ./wrapper

-bash: ./wrapper: cannot execute binary file

Any ideas?

Hi, I'm using new method and when i try 'service youtrack start' I get:

Starting youtrack...
"/home/youtrack/standalone/bin/wrapper" "/home/youtrack/standalone/conf/wrapper.conf" wrapper.syslog.ident=youtrack wrapper.pidfile="/home/youtrack/standalone//youtrack.pid" wrapper.daemonize=TRUE
/etc/rc.d/init.d/youtrack: line 417: /home/youtrack/standalone/bin/wrapper: cannot execute binary file
