Error when deleting user

I would like delete a user, but I get this error:

Can't remove [User: id = 20-4[up-to-date] (RemovedSaved)] because there're the following incoming links: 1: IssueComment: id = 55-17[up-to-date] (Saved).author

What should I do?

P.S. I'm using YouTrack 2.2.1 (build #803 [01-Feb-2011 10:04] )

Hello Alexey,

You can not delete user untill it has any assigned/created issues/comments and so on.

You can:

- ban this user

- merge this user with onother one and all his issues and permissions will be reassigned with target user.

Hello, Sergey!

Thank you for the answer, I merged this user with guest (banned on my installation). Although it works it's not much convenient because now all references to deleted user are marked as guest, it would be more readable just to save just deleted user's name for keeping proper history.

You should check guest's permission now if the user had some extra previlegies.

Sergey.

Also you can created fake deleted_user and merge users into this account, because guest is too popular login user

I banned guest account in our installation so it's ok. And I don't want to spend another user account on that since we have upper limit on 20 users and already got about 15 :-)
