Trimming the YT db

The physical size on disk of our YT db is growing fairly quickly mainly because folks often attach fairly large binary objects, zip files, etc. to tickets.  Often these aren't really needed.  Is there some way to find tickets that have large attachments that could then be deleted?  Is there some way to archive old tickets that are a particular state?

Please try search by attachments, e.g. "has: attachments attachments: *.zip" or "has: attachments attachments: *.bin".

Further you can manually choose the largest of them.

I can try this although almost all of our tickets have attachments...

Those searches don't work for me.  If I search for "has:attachments attachments:*.xlsx" for example, it returns all tickets with attachments and ignores the second clause.  If I search for attachments:*.xlsx by itself, I seem to get a correct result.

How would I manually choose the largest of them?

Hello!
Unfortunately, It's impossible now to permanently remove attachments.
It could be deleted only with issue.
Here is request about it, please, vote for it: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/JT-12816

Neither of these has the effect of actually making the DB smaller.
