Displaying subtasks in Agile Board

I don't want to use swimlanes in mode "Issues" (they're ugly). But I need to see issues with subtasks. The only way I found is check "With description" option in view switcher at the top. But it isn't convinient as descriptions are big.

Is there any other way to see subtasks in AgileBoard?

Hello Shrike,

You can disable Swimlanes. In this way you'll see parents with their subtasks displayed as a list in parents' body on Agile board.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, I won't.
As I said, subtasks are shown inside their parents only in "With description" mode. But not in minimal/compact modes.

Shrike,

To disable Swimlanes, please navigate to Agile settings-> uncheck Swimlanes option.
Subtasks will be shown inside the parent feature in a list only with their subjects.

If it doesn't help, please provide us with the screenshot of your board and that parent task.

Thank you.

Dear Andrey.
I known how to disable swimlane. I'm telling that subtasks are not shown inside tasks in Compact mode.
See.
"With description" mode:

Compact mode:

Can you see that ther're no subtasks in Compact mode?

Shrike,

That's some kind of misunderstanding, because in your first message you've asked about alternative ways to display subtasks inside parents, but without description. The alternative is the way I've described previously.
Unfortunately, we cannot show subtasks in compact mode. For that purposes we've made an option to show them in 'With description' view.

Thank you.

Andrey,

I can't see ANY way to display subtasks without description!

You didn't describe anything about this. You only suggest to disable swimlanes. But I have no swimlanes (they're disabled).
Screenshots I posted are with disabled swimlanes.

Shrike,

I see that I was wrong with the assumption about your request.
It was not clear what description you talked about- description of a parent task or description of its subtasks. I was answering about subtasks' descriptions, which are not shown inside parent feature.
To be able to see subtasks inside parent- you are allowed to use only 'With description' view, and description of your parent feature will be shown, too.
