Custom Field changes don't show up in issue history

I have 2 custom fields added to a project. I just noticed that changing first field adds an item to the issue history. Changing second adds nothing there. Both fields seem to be set up exactly the same way.

Any idea how it could be fixed?

I can provide logs if it may help. I didn't see anything useful there but you may of course see more.

Hello Michael,

First of all, sorry for not responding earlier.
Please, confirm that you make changes in more than one minute after issue creation. If it's not the case, the change won't be shown in history.
Please, attach the screenshot of original issue and after it was changed, with History tab.

Yes, logs will be appreciated.

Looks like I can't repeat the problem now. I'm writing this off on what you mentioned before: I tried to change a field within 1 minute of issue creation.
