YouTrack 5.1: How to add a custom state?

Hi list,

how can I add a custom state.
It must be possible because I managed it to work in previous versions of youtrack.
I thought there was a button "Add State" or something like that to add a new state-value.

Maybe I missed something...
Any hint is welcome.

From the settings interface click Custom Fields then click "States (xx)" in the table.  From there you should be able to add a state.

This is what i imagined from previous version. Unfortunately i cannot find this "Add State"-Link.

If I'm understanding that message correctly, you must have admin access to all 43 projects in order to be able to edit the bundle (add a state).

This is what I am. I am Admin. I also have created all those projects using this user.

Found the problem.
I had several archived projects that used this bundle too. After reactivating these project (unarchiving) the missing link "Add State" was back.
