Notification on Issues Creation

I have a few questions on new issue creation...When a user emails our techsupport@ email address, I have YouTrack auto fetching it and creating a ticket. That is working. Next, I have YouTrack sending a notification email to support@. I cannot, however figure out how to also notify the user that submitted the ticket on comments and updates.

Hello Wayne,

How is set as a reporter of issue created with mailbox integration (Administration> Mailbox integration> Reporter)? If new user creates, then you may set this under users' profile> Filters and notifications> enable on issue created and on comment posted notifications for target saved search.
