Pasting an Image from the Clipboard

The new image handling in 6 is great, having no Java applet to make your life miserable, but alas, it doesn't work on the mac. I capture a screenshot to the clipboard, then I can't add it to the ticket. It does nothing when I try to paste to the popup window. The image is for sure there because I open Preview and it makes a new image from it.

So I end up having to make a file and then basically attach it, which is no better than where we were 10 years ago?

Rob,

Just checked this on Mac Yosemite, Chrome 38.0.2125.122> works great.
Steps taken: capture image to clipboard> click Attach> Attach Image and Edit> cmd+V> edit image> Attach. All is ok.
Also, checked with simple cmd+V directly> all is ok as well.

How did you attach image?

Ah awesome!! You are right it works in Chrome.

Does NOT work in Safari.

I was using chrome but stopped when Yosemite came out because it keeps hanging and leaving zombies running...

Rob,

In Safari, we offer dropping files instead of pasting them with cmd+V because of Safari specific. It's expected behaviour. In prompt window there is no 'cmd+ V' option comparing to prompt window in Chrome.

Thank you.

Yeah and dropping the file in there kind of defeats the whole purpose, just takes a detour around the new, non-applet work you guys did. Too bad Safari does not support that.
