Default Text in Description

Hi

We give our employees access to youtrack to open tickets. As you can imagine the quality of the opened tickets is sometimes poor. To increase the ticket quality we would like to create a default text in the description that holds information like:

  • please declare the url
  • please declare the involved systems
  • please declare all involved people
  • please give a proper description

So the question is: Is there a possibility to change the default text of the description field and if yes how can I do that?

Thank you very much for your quick answer. I had already seen this. But even if I attach this workflow to all Projects I have listed it does not turn up. I have also downloaded the workflow with the workflow editor and removed the when statement. But it still dows not work. How can I ensure the workflow is activated?

Hi Simon,

The workflow activates when you start typing (issue subject or issue description, for example). Try to create new issue> put cursor in subj field/start typing some text.

Ok...that works. Now in my case this behaviour does not make sense. Is it possible to fill the description field when the page is loaded?
