Limiting access to saved searches only

Is it possible to limit user access to specific saved searches only, so they can't see all issues from projects?

We want to give our clients access to YT, but we want them to see only specific issues across all projects - issues where custom field (client) is set to specific value, so basically create a search and only expose that with them.

Is it possible to achieve that in youtrack?

Hello Alex,

thank you for reaching out!

It's not currently possible to make make your clients see only issues from some saved search, but you can limit visibility of issues that your clients don't need to see to some user group (your teammates, for example). You will need to set visibility of those issues hidden from clients manually.

More about setting visibility of issues here: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/incloud/7.0/Set-Visibility-of-Issue-or-Comment.html

Please note that you can always perform mass updates of your issues with a command, so that setting visibility of several issues wouldn't be a problem.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Liubov, thank you.

That's unfortunately won't work for us.  Various clients have different visibility.

Simple example: we have a multi-valued field called "Client" where we can specify none, one, or combination of client codes. We'll use those codes across all issues in different projects. We can then easily create custom searches for each client that would filter out only issues where this client code was used, but at the moment there is no way to limit client access to issues returned by specific search :(

Hello Alex,

then I suppose there is no way to configure your issues visibility like you've described.

There is no way to limit access to a saved search results only without granting access to the whole project where the issues belong.

Please let me know if you have any further questions, thank you.
