Version Numbers

I'm running TeamCity Version 5.0 EAP (build 10642) and You track 1.0.2 with the .54 restful API.

I can't seem to get the Affected Versions list to populate, either automatically by builds from Team city or by manually entering an item in the list.

If I type a version # into the list it wont save either, see image above..

I do have successful builds in Team City, I've added YouTrack as an issue tracker...  Am I missing something here?

How do I populate these lists, either manually, automatically or both ?

Hi Gavin,

Build 10642 should provide bundled REST API, as well as all subsequent builds.

Try removing the separate v54 plugin. If it doesn't help, drop us a line.

If everything works fine, the list of builds should be passed from your TeamCity server. However, the list of versions depends on your project settings in YouTrack.

Regards,

Jura

Removed Rest API plugin..  restarted webservice..  Re-ran team-city syncs for all projects, works ok.  Still no version numbers.

Can I edit these lists manually ?  in addition to haveing them auto-populated by TeamCity ?

Update... have a version number in Fix for build.. I need to add some older version numbers which are currently in production which weren't built with Team City and aren't on this list.

Why do i have a version number in Fix for Build but not the others?  Any way to edit these lists manaully ?

Gavin,

Why do i have a version number in Fix for Build but not the others?

You can only have a build number in Fix for build, as opposed to version number.

YouTrack only gets build numbers from TeamCity, not version numbers.

You should create versions yourself whether you use TeamCity integration or not, in Admin area > Projects > project name > Versions > Create new version

For builds assembled without TeamCity, you can specify build numbers in Admin area > Projects > project name > Builds > Create new build
