How to reopen issue in youtrack.jetbrains.net

Hi,

Maybe it is a silly question, but how can I reopen issue (e.g. in Idea:Feedback or Idea:Development) when it was closed (e.g. as fixed)?

I see a Resolve menu,  but no reopen option. I tried with command line, but without any result. It's useful when you report an issue, it is fixed by JetBrains and for you it still doesn't work in specified fix build.

Hi Marcin,

The problem is that external users in IntelliJ IDEA projects don't have permissions to reopen issues.

The best way to let a developer in charge know that you have reproduced the problem is to write a comment. The developer will then receive a notification about your comment.

I see.

Thanks for your reply!

This process doesn't work. Several times have I added a comment asking to reopen a critical issue due to a regression, but I never got a response. Please provide a way for users to reopen issues themselves. Otherwise, we are forced to create new issues, which helps noone.

Cheers,

Peter

Hello Peter,

Can you please provide a link to the issue you're talking about?

Latest example is here: http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/IDEA-25874

Another example, this time about closing rather than reopening an issue (notice that I requested to close this issue back in December): http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/IDEA-23429

Cheers,

Peter

Also didn't work here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-189444

And still no answer in this topic since February 2010.
