JSR-317 (JPA) database backend for YouTrack

Since Glassfish v3 in one of the supported plattforms for YouTrack, are there any plans to support using a RDBMS via JPA for a future release of YouTrack?

As we use our own MPS language (codenamed DNQ) for database layer and currently it supports neither RDB nor JPA we can't use RDBMS as a backend for YouTrack. But it would be possible when DNQ can communicate with RDB or JPA.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I think this would be also a great feature for MPS. Since the JPA provider and the RDBMS can easily be replaced, this would allow great flexibility for both, people building solutions based on MPS and for people using YouTrack.

Mabye some other users can state their opinion about whether they would like this feature too?
