limit youtrack logging
Hi,
on a new youtrack install (on ubuntu, jetty, java 6) I have the problem that youtrack logs an awful lot of information. The sysadmin responsible for this system doesn't want the logs to grow that fast and threatens to shut down youtrack if I don't configure the logging more conservative.
I read in the FAQ that I'm supposed to edit WEB-INF/classes/jetbrains/charisma/main/log4j.xml... In this file i configured the root logger to priority WARN and commented out all individual category settings. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to change anything. Youtrack/Jetty still logs out every http request with INFO level like this:
2877847 [http request: /_events?window_id=1 [_heart_beat]] INFO jetbrains.mps.webr.runtime.servlet.MainServlet - Start processing request /_events?window_id=1 [_heart_beat]
2877850 [http request: /_events?window_id=1 [_heart_beat]] INFO jetbrains.mps.webr.runtime.servlet.MainServlet - Finish processing request /_events?window_id=1 [_heart_beat] in 3ms
What can I do? Is this a bug?

Hello,
Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes, it might be a bug, we will investigate the problem.
What YouTrack version do you use?
Best regards,
Ekaterina
Hi,
we're using YouTrack 3.0.4.
Hi,
It definitely looks like a bug. I've created the issue in our tracker http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/JT-12092 so you can vote for it, leave comments, and watch its progress.

Ah ok. Thank you for opening a bug report for this!
Hello,
I thought we continue in issue http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/JT-12092 , but I repetat my questions here.
Did you repacked youtrack*.war file after you've changed log4j.xml file and restarted Jetty?
Could you attach relust log4j.xml file?
