Notifications issue

I noticed recently that I wasn't getting notifications when tickets were assigned to me.  Several other users noticed the same.  I looked at my profile settings and under the saved search "Assigned to me", none of the columns were checked.  I also noticed that there are 3 identical "Assigned to me" saved searches (and the columns for none of them are checked).  I checked several other users and I see the same situation.  I checked for a user who'd never logged in and again, same situation.  I suspect the default "Assigned to me" saved search was removed and someone tried re-adding it (3 times)?  Or??  How can I fix this?  Seems no users are getting notifications when tickets are assigned to them.

Hi Jerry.

Looks like your are right. Saved search deletion clears all notification rules checked in user profiles. No search - no rules. By default Assigned to me saved search is owned by root and not editable for others. So only the root could break this saved search. Unfortunately there is no way to revert it easily. You can only ask users from assignee groups of your projects to check the rules in their User Profile->Filters and Notifications for new "Assigned to me". Please ensure that new saved search has query for: me and shared for All users group. Also it should be better to delete other searches with name Assigned to me or reduce their visibility to avoid confusion.

Thanks!  By root user, I assume you mean admins?  How can I tell who all has this right so I can make sure to let them all know not to do this in the future?

All three of the "Assigned to me" saved searches are "for:me owned by root" - how could we end up with three?

one other quick question - is there an easy way to send an e-mail to all of our youtrack users?  We have 214 users...  and I don't have some sort of e-mail distribution group that includes all of them.
