YouTrack don't handle local network petitions

Sorry if I am doing something wrong, I0m feeling very stupid asking this since I'm sure this is about some kind of configuration, but I've tried everything I can imagine without success.

I can access YouTrack from the installation pc itself (with localhost, with its IP or with its machine name) but I can't access the youtrack instance from other PCs in the local network (there is NO response). I am sure it was working in the past. Other PCs can browse other web pages in other web servers installed in the same machine in another port. YouTrack is on port 8008.

Lots of thanks in advance!

Hi Áxel Costas Pena,

Everything's OK with the question)
How did you install YouTrack?
On your local host, please, navigate to Administration > Settings > BaseURL, check it's set correctly: http://<ip-address>:port or http://<machine_name>:port

Thank you.

Yes, it's right, it's http://acostas-pc:8008.
In fact, generated emails have perfectly working links to issues. I can open them in my machine. But I can't open them form another computer on the network.

Hi Áxel Costas Pena,

Have you already checked, if 8008 doesn't block by firewalls and anti-virus software?
Just to double check, have you tried to access YouTrack by ip-address:port either?

Thank you.

Hi Andrey and thank you.

I had to explicitly add a rule to Windows Firewall to make it accept local network requests in a nonstandard port. I was somehow expecting Tomcat to do this for me.

It's solved, thank you again!
