Poor date/time management support in workflows

When you're working with worflow rules, the datetime support its very limited. For example, i can't get the current hour in int format, nor can i get the current minute in int format.

Also, i cant do datetime operations. For example, how can i know how many hours i have left from "now" to 4pm?

Lets say that i need to create a new datetime variable and its value should be today's date, but its hour should be 4pm. How can i do that?

Please, consider adding a more robust time object in youtrack. Maybe a datetime object with the properties similar to the ones in Java or C#

Maybe im missing something here?

You're right, the workflow language has limited support of dates, please vote for the related issues JT-22158, JT-13373, JT-16425.

Hi Dmitry, thanks for your answer.

Most of those issues are even 2 years old :\ does that mean we're out of luck? We're evaluating youtrack for our company but this is a mayor roadblock for us because i can't setup a workflow as we need it because of this.

Do you haven an eta?

We're planning to move the Workflow editor to browser (JT-17984) and in that time significantly improve the workflow language in the next YouTrack version.
