How do you prevent search engines finding a self hosted YouTrack installation

I have installed YouTrack on a Windows Server and set it up so that it can be accessed via a port on a public IP. I don't want it to be indexed/crawled/found by search engines such as Google and bing and want to know how I can prevent them crawling the YouTrack page.

On a normal website you would typically achieve this with a robots.txt file but I don't know how to do it with YouTrack

Thanks for help in advance

Hi,

This can be achieved with robots.txt as well. The file should be placed on Jetty, for example, which should be set as proxy server.

Thank you.
