Root cannot assign removed permissions back

I logged in by root and then I have accidentally removed several permissions from Admin role and saved. Now, I cannot add them back. Root's role is also "Admin" and now I am in a deadlock situation since even the root cannot add the permissions back. How to add those disabled back ?
