Add cost tracking that works similar to Time tracking per ticket

I am not a software developer, but I use youtrack to manage many different processes at my work. One of things that I would find useful is being able to track costs associated with a ticket such as materials or services required to resolve the ticket, and also have cost reports that sum of all costs associated with a project or custom field.

Does anyone else have a use for this functionality?
