Migration of YouTrack to new computer

We're having some trouble moving our YouTrack server between computers. It's YouTrack 6.0 and the same installer was used so they both have the same build version. We installed on the new PC as a fresh install and then tried throwing the backed up database in, it seemed to almost work but it tries to redirect to the old computer name and port. We also tried uninstalling and reinstalling as an upgrade, but same issue.

Is there a way to easily do this? I can't seem to find any documentation on it, only moving the issues themselves. Which I assume means we'd need to put in all the users and settings again.

Have you already seen this document? https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/YTD65/Import+from+Another+YouTrack+Server

Please let me know, if you've followed this article and the migration still incomplete.

I have seen it: https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/YTD6/Import+from+Another+YouTrack+Server

I see that it does mention importing users, but doesn't give a full migration process. By my understanding so far, the process would be:

  1. Install YouTrack on the new computer.
  2. Manually set up all server settings (email integration, git integration, teamcity integration, etc...)
  3. Export and import workflows.
  4. For each project, export and import all issues.

Is that correct?

That shouldn't be correct, these information is stored in the database and should be fetched. Could you please create a support request: https://youtrack-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=66282 ?

Oh, I see. We haven't tried the process in that link because it wasn't clear that it moved anything but issues and users. I'll give it a go.
