Links to images that are generated and shared manually expire after three days. This is a security measure. Due to this mechanism, it's not possible to permanently embed images into another article using links. You can find more details about this mechanism in our documentation here.
To permanently embed an image, you first need to add it as an attachment to the article/issue.
