Remove sprint from the sprint drop-down
When we archive old sprints, they still appear in the drop-down menu. How can we remove archived sprints from this drop down? And can only an administrator do it?

They should be appearing under "archived" sprints. This is done by design.
Yes, I can see the old sprints marked as "Archived". I no longer want to see them in the drop down. Is it possible to make them disappear from the drop down when they are archived (but not deleted)?
No, unfortunately, that's not possible.
Was able to inject CSS into the reverse proxy apache output (link rel) that adjusts this.
Perhaps developing a plugin would make better sense here.
When you have 30 archived sprints, and you're dealing with teammates that like to click things they shouldn't click ,then subsequently execute actions and operations on things that shouldn't be seen, this is critical.
Not trying to necro up the thread, but I feel this is a bit more critical than just "oh nah, you're stuck with it how it is".

We still keep archived sprints on the list of sprints, that's by design. If you have an archived sprint, you should be able to un-archive it at some point, and this list is currently the only place where you can do that.
In any case, feel free to submit a feature request into our tracker here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/JT If the demand to change the archived sprints presentation is high, we'll come up with a solution from our side.
