Can't remove issue from sprint

I have defined my project as Scrum.

All new issues are automatically assigned to the unscheduled Sprint. But I wan't to have my new issues in the backlog instead automatically assigned to a sprint. When I want to remove that issue from the scrum board, I always get the error message: "Can't remove issue from sprint"
