Sprint schedule not the same with multiple boards

I set up a project with the default Scrum template (i.e. two Agile Boards for management and development). When I create a sprint on one of them and set a schedule spanning a two-week period, the sprint shows up on both boards, but the other board only has the end date (i.e. it appears as a single-day sprint). Is this expected behavior? If so, what's the thinking there? If this is not expected, I wanted to raise it as an issue. In the meantime, is there any negative impact of modifying the "incorrect" schedule to include all intended days?
