Agile board: How to select and update multiple cards

Is there a way to select multiple cars on the you track board and do either of the following actions:

- Drag all selected card to a different column?

- Drag all selected card to a different position in the SAME column. i.e move all selected cards to the top of the column?

However when i attempt to do this the cards that im trying to select only show a blue border, indicating they have not been selected.

any suggestion/help appreciated
