How to calculate velocity based on effective time spent on task

Hi all,

we don't work with complexity but we estimate the time needed to accomplish a task. We have 3 teams that each have a agile board where all the tasks for the week from all the different projects are available. I would like to calculate the velocity based on the time spent per task for each board or per project. But so far I haven't found a way to do so. Could you please help me or tell me how to do so?

Kind regards,
Andrew

Hello,

I'd recommend you to use the burndown chart: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/standalone/Burndown.html .

Hi Lüba,

the Burndown Chart is great to have for each board but I still can't make a report where I can see the velocity, based on the boards, on a weekly basis. I would like to know the velocity for each week calculated by the time achieved each week. Do you have a solution for that?

Kind regards,

Andrew
