Searching on user type field

Permanently deleted user

Hello,

i met issue with youtrack field with type user and searching on values in this field on youtrack 2018.2 Build 42881 28 Jun 2018 00:00

When i have field of type user and set of users if set to group All Users and this group contains user Jan Rücker (jan.rucker) i cant search on this field by users login

field values defined by group

Searching on this field

But when i have user defined this way

I can search on this field by user login

Is there a way how to enable this search type (by user login) on values defined by group?

I couldn't reproduce the same issue that you're reporting here, but I found a more general issue and filed it here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/JT-50871
