Time report for a given period

What is the criteria required to identify all variations where a user may enter time over a given period?

If for example, I user updated by, the item where a user entered time is excluded from the calculation the moment another user updates the item.

Hello Joseph,

thank you for your message on YouTrack forum.

Your scenario is not yet clear to me, could you probably elaborate it a bit further, provide some steps and/or screenshots for illustration? What are the current time report settings that you're using? How and when do you track spent time? Any details would help.

Hi Liubov,
For example, I have the report shown below, but this does not correctly accumulate all the tickets and issues I have added time to. The moment another user updates the ticket, my query excludes it obviously.

The problem is that I am unaware of all the fields needed to accommodate the different ways time can be added to issues and tickets.

Hello Joseph,

do you need to look only for the issues with work items from certain users? If so, then I suggest using either of these options:

- "Issue filter" setting > work author: <your_login>

- "Work author" setting > select the authors that you want to see in your report.

The search reference can be found here: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/incloud/Search-and-Command-Attributes.html#work-author

The time report general description: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/incloud/Time-Report.html

Hi, clearing the issue filter and applying a work author only was the solution, thanks.
