estimate field in date period
the estimate field is duration of workflow. and it can be written as 1w3d, 3m2w .. etc.
by the way, is there a way to put date period?
for example, 17, July 2020 to 20, August, 2020

In YouTrack, there are several custom field types related to dates, time, and duration: period, date, date and time. All these field types are available via workflow.
For each custom field, it's only possible to enter the value of its type. This means that you can only enter period values into period fields, etc.

As for your question about estimation, if this field is of `period` type, then you can't put a date there, unfortunately, since these are two different field types. You can only put a period there.
